I like this comforter, but after washing each time, there is so much pilling that needs to be removed. At first I thought it was because it was new, but now it’s gotten worse with each wash. According to wife who critiqued the fit, it did not hang off enough on any of the sides. Sent back and will be trying King when I get this weekVery pleased with this duvet. The quality seems to be very nice and great stitching. This is the first duvet we’ve ever owned and so far very happy with it.This item was clearly designed (and designed well) as a duvet insert. The outer fabric is akin to a quality, nice thread count, muslin cotton. It has polyester fiberfill. It’s sewn very well and the edge seams are beautifully finished. It has well secured corner loops for attaching to a duvet cover. The overall stitching is secure and even.It IS surprisingly much heavier than the all season microfiber comforter I was using (and which would roast me by the wee hours of the night because it didn’t breathe). I was actually surprised at the weight. It’s warm and does feel very much like tucking in under quality linens (I have mine in a 100% cotton duvet cover). I’m not sure that I will use this in warmer weather because I don’t keep my thermostat set at 62 F in the summer, but I am very happy to use it now.This duvet insert is made in India. India is known for its wonderful cotton fabrics and for good workmanship in bed linens, and this duvet insert does not disappoint.This is a comfortable cozy but calling duvet insert. It did take a while to fluff up but definitely did not get as fluffy as in the picture which is why I’m deducting a star. Overall it’s not too expensive and goes gray inside a duvet cover.Pretty white, soft and thick. Washed well and worth the price. Would recommend.Bought a twin size. Like others mention this is thin and not fluffy like you’d expect a comforter to be. It’s more like a puffy coverlet than comforter. I have a nice all cotton coverlet and was hoping this would replace the coverlet and cotton blanket so that it would be easier for my daughter to make her bed. She would still require the blanket so it totally defeats the purpose of this purchase. If I hadn’t been in the middle of selling our house and lost track of the return window, I would be returning this as it is not what I had hoped for.For the price, this is a great duvet. I haven’t used it yet, so can’t comment on the warmth, but I bought to use as a light weight summer duvet, so I’m sure it will be fine. A lot of comments mention how thin it is, and it really isn’t super puffy, but it did puff up after being laid out for a little while. The only negative I can see is width. It doesn’t hang over the sides of the bed as shown in the photo.The reviews seemed to be mixed but there were more good than bad so I decided to try it. It’s super thin and not at all soft or fluffy. It doesn’t fill out my duvet cover at all. ?It was much heavier than I expected it was even heavier than my wool one so returnedGreat blanket! I wouldn’t get anything else !
